Apym is an AI phone assistant for startups and SMBs. You connect a voice agent to a US Apym number; callers are greeted and qualified 24/7; your team receives structured recaps by email and Slack.

Who is Apym for?

Startups, small businesses, and growing teams that rely on inbound phone calls — for sales, support, or scheduling — and want every caller qualified without hiring a receptionist.

How much does Apym cost?

Starter is $89/month (400 minutes). Pro is $199/month (1,000 minutes). Business is $499/month (2,500 minutes). US phone numbers are a $4/month add-on.

How much does a missed business call cost?

An unreturned missed call can mean hundreds of dollars in lost revenue. Apym helps capture those calls from $89/month (Starter, 400 minutes included).

Apym vs voicemail?

Voicemail asks callers to leave a message — most hang up. Apym has a real-time conversation on your Apym number, qualifies the request, and sends an actionable recap to your inbox and Slack.

Does Apym offer US phone numbers?

Yes — local numbers (enter your 3-digit area code, e.g. 512) or national standard +1 lines. Customers call your Apym number directly; no carrier forwarding.

When does the assistant answer?

Whenever someone calls your published Apym US number — 24/7, including outside business hours.

How long until it's live?

About 5 minutes: create your agent in Setup, connect a US Apym number, publish it, and test with a colleague. Calls qualify as soon as the line is active.

How do recaps reach my team?

After each call: email recap (summary, caller number, dashboard link). Connect Slack in your dashboard to post the same summary to a channel — optional but handy for sales and ops teams.

What do the included minutes mean?

Starter: 400 min/month. Pro: 1,000 min/month. Business: 2,500 min/month. Beyond that, enable pay-as-you-go ($0.19/min on Starter & Pro, $0.16/min on Business).

What happens if I exceed my plan?

Enable pay-as-you-go in your dashboard (billed on the next cycle). Without it, the assistant pauses when minutes run out. See our terms at apym.io/legal/terms.

What's included in the subscription?

Custom voice agent, email recaps, included minutes, and self-service setup. From Pro: customizable scripts and knowledge base per assistant. US phone numbers are a separate add-on ($4/month).

Does the assistant sign quotes on my behalf?

No. It greets the caller, qualifies the request, and offers a callback window. You get a recap with the summary and phone number — your team closes the deal.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Monthly subscription, no long-term lock-in. Cancel whenever you want; service stays active through the end of the paid period.

Are callers told they're speaking with an AI assistant?

Yes. The greeting states that the call is recorded and handled by a voice assistant, as required by law. Details in our privacy policy.

Can I add my own business knowledge to the assistant?

Yes, from the Pro plan. Add text (hours, FAQ, guidelines), a web page, or a document (PDF, TXT, DOCX). The assistant queries these sources during the call.

How does intelligent call transfer work (Pro+)?

The assistant can transfer the live call to a number you choose (callback number in Setup). Enable it under Settings → Call transfer (Pro or above). Transfer time counts toward your included minutes.

Can the assistant recognize a caller and share order status?

Yes, on Pro. Import caller records or connect a live HTTPS API in your dashboard. The assistant can greet known callers by name with optional verification before sensitive details.

Do prices include tax?

Prices exclude tax. Applicable sales tax is added at checkout based on your location.
